The Kuari Pass Trek, also known as the “Lord Curzon Trail”, is one of the most iconic Himalayan treks in Uttarakhand. Famous for its sweeping views of the Nanda Devi Massif (25,643 ft), India’s second-highest mountain, Kuari Pass is a perfect blend of snow-clad summits, ancient forests, alpine meadows, and remote Himalayan villages.
Situated at an altitude of 12,516 ft, Kuari Pass is an excellent trek for both beginners and seasoned trekkers alike. First popularized in 1905 by Lord Curzon, the then Viceroy of India, it holds great historical significance. This trek rewards adventurers with mesmerizing views of Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Kamet, Chaukhamba, Trishul, and Neelkanth, while also offering deep cultural experiences in Garhwali villages.
