At the heart of this journey lies Tungnath Temple, one of the revered Panch Kedar shrines. Pilgrims and trekkers alike experience an overwhelming sense of peace and divinity in its presence.
Rising above the temple is the Chandrashila Peak—literally “Moon Rock.” Mythology recalls Lord Rama meditated here after defeating Ravana, while the Moon God performed penance upon this summit.
